I came across this video a few minutes ago and I thought it was pretty interesting. Nickelodeon UK interviewed groups of kids back in 1999 and asked them what their thoughts were of the future. Some of the questions are ridiculous in their nature (e.g flying chickens), but the answers provided by the kids are interesting and some of the points they made turned out to be accurate. The kids at 3:41 pretty much summed up the music scene of 2018; "inauthentic and digitalised". What are your thoughts on this?

LOL most those predictions were completely ridiculous But the smartphone and electronic music kids got it right. TBH, those weren't difficult predictions to make I agree. Cat and Dog rock bands... *sigh. Yep. Even back in 1999, i'm sure it wouldn't have been unreasonable for someone to make the prediction that music would eventually become more digitalised, especially when you consider the fact that auto-tune began to be used more often as well. There were already signs that the music industry was heading in that direction. However, with that said, no one would ever have predicted that rock music would fall out of the mainstream in as little as 11-12 years.
