Popedia has upgraded to a new homepage design. The forum has existed for almost 18 months now; this new homepage design will lead Popedia into a new era and hopefully drive Popedia forward well into the future. New features about the design include:  Cover Photo
It is now possible to have a cover photo for your member profile. However, you can only upload one by copying the link/url to a photo. I upload my photos onto Imgbb and then copy/paste the "Direct Link" of the photo into the Cover Photo tab. I'll create a thread explaining this in more detail.  New Drop-Down Menu
The function of this drop-down menu is similar to the one in the "Sleek & Modern" theme. I'm planning on making further changes to the menu itself. There are still a few things that need tweaking, so there will be further changes to the design and function of the theme in the next few days. If you do not like the new forum homepage and prefer the old look, the previous "Minimalist" theme is still available to use. To switch back to the "Minimalist" theme, simply go to your member profile and click "Edit Profile". Then, click on the "Settings" tab and if you scroll down the page, you'll notice that there is an option to switch themes.  There is a video tutorial on how to do it here. If you have any questions about the new design or you are unsure of anything, please let me know.

I have inquired about fixing the size issue with the avatars in member profiles and mini-profiles. I'm also planning on changing the background colour (it is currently blue) of the mini-profiles. I'll keep you updated on any changes.

To be honest, I still haven't decided on what the logo should be.  I'm digging the new layout! Glad you like it!

Honestly this theme stressed me out at first because I was so used to the default layout but uh, it's definitely growing on me. I love the addition of cover photos too. The profile design feels so much more modernized.

I've got to admit, it has taken me a bit of time to adjust to the new default layout as well, as it is quite a significant upgrade from the "Minimalist" theme. Either way, i'm glad to hear that you are liking it. There's still a few things that need tweaking, such as the avatar sizing issue and the mini-profile background colour, but they should be resolved in the next few days.

There’s a few little tweaks which could be made here and there (like the resizing of the avatars for starters), but it’s coming along nicely. 🙂

Just in case anyone was wondering, I haven't forgotten about the things that need tweaking on the forum homepage. I don't have any plans for today, so I will make the changes to the forum at some stage during the day. I can't promise that I will be able to fix the tweaks straight away, but i'll see what I can do.

I've managed to fix the sizing issues of avatars in the mini-profiles. I still need to figure out a way how to fix the avatars in member profiles, as well as changing the background colours of the mini profiles. However, i'll keep you all updated on any further developments.
