I was listening to a local radio station (Power FM) several weeks ago and the station happened to play a few songs from 2006, such as "Maneater" by Nelly Furtardo and "Irreplaceable" by Beyonce. Even though I've never liked those songs, they made me feel pretty nostalgic, especially considering that the Mid 2000s are over ten years ago now! Since then, I've been thinking back to the Mid 2000s quite a lot. I was 5-7 years old at the time, so half of my core childhood occurred during those years. With being 18 years of age, I am pretty nostalgic for a lot of things from my childhood.  I still remember when Crazy Frog came out. You could get a toy in a Happy Meal at McDonalds which played the first 10-15 seconds of the Crazy Frog song.  
I used to collect the Tazo NRL footy cards when I was six. Unfortunately, I lost most of them.

I actually have a vivid memory of me getting my ears pierced at Claire's back in 2006. I was with my sister and I was sitting in a chair that was high enough for them to see. I remember crying at the time. I can still put on earrings fine today.

I remember crying at the time. I can still put on earrings fine today. You would have only been 4 years old at the time, so it's understandable why you would have cried over getting earrings. I don't have earrings, but I have heard that it can hurt getting them.

I finished watching "Firewall" (a 2006 movie starring Harrison Ford) earlier this evening and it made me feel incredibly nostalgic for the era. It's amazing how outdated the 2000s truly are now. In the movie, the computers still had Windows XP on them and the teenage daughter was using an MP3 to listen to songs.

I remember when a girl was crying so loud in Sweet and Sassy (it was so loud that I was able to hear a little bit of it from outside the store).
