Reports have surfaced this morning that Stan Lee, the co-creator of Spider-Man and several other Marvel characters, has passed away at age 95. More details to come.

I just heard that just now. Sad news! RIP. 🙁
I wonder if they will continue with him having cameo appearances in the movies as of a tribute of sorts? Obviously they could CGI him in the backgrounds, much like the parts he had in the first few movies before he got some dialogue in the later films.

I'm not sure if they would use CGI to include him in future movies (his family might not like the thought of that and tbh, I personally hope that doesn't happen), but I could definitely see Marvel making several subtle or blatant references to him. His legacy will continue to live on in future movies; it's just a matter of what form it will take.

True.
I read awhile ago that last year he shot a few cameos (probably all in front of green screens I guess) for Marvel to use in the future. It seems he will still pop around in future movies though.
I reckon they should write him out in the next Avengers movie 4. He was a legend and deserves a fitting end, IMO.
