A thread to discuss the anniversaries of Australian-media related events or recordings that you have made.
Here is a Seven News Sydney opener I recorded five years ago to the day. Such a huge contrast to what the news service is like today.

One wonders what Seven News Sydney might've been like now if the network decided to continue with Chris Bath & Jim Wilson (as lead news & sports presenters respectively) for a little while longer.
I reckon Chris & Jim almost gave Pete & Kenny on Nine a run for their money with some of their banter in 2012-13 but these days, Pete & Cam are far better at bantering than Fergo & Mel McLaughlin!

I think Seven News Sydney would have been in a much better position now. In such a scenario, it would be interesting to know how Seven News Sydney would have fared after converting to a one hour format. If Chris Bath & Jim Wilson had continued to front the bulletin, it's possible that Seven News Sydney really would have gave Nine a run for their money and remained very competitive against them.
