Well it's disappointing that no one participated. Honestly, I don't think we should even continue with forum contests, because no one ever responds to them...even though there's 25-30 members who log on each day. Go figure. how many of us have any shred of artistic skill especially when it comes to logo design, and also the confidence to actually put it out there as a submission lol Point taken. Although, there were a few people who expressed interest in doing tech design work on the forum, so I thought this contest might have appealed to them.

I've been really busy the whole of December (school projects...) and had this contest in the back of my mind but didn't manage to get to it, sorry about that 
(I even had my portfolio poster for school due the same day and I just winged it in 10 minutes when my classmate reminded me :/ )

I guess by default you did, even though the logo design was pre-existing. Anyway, since no one else took part in the contest, yes, you are the winner of this contest.

I know I'm late as hell but I made this out of boredom.  The problem with this logo is that it looks too much like the Kik logo, and anyone that used Kik knows how ghetto that app is.  I think I should've done a different font and color.

With a few tweaks to perhaps the colour I reckon it looks pretty good and so far (depending if others share their ideas), should be the forums new logo.

The contest technically finished on the 31st December, but we would still accept any possible designs that people may come up with.

Sorry about there being virtually no entries though, lol. I know how disappointing it can be to plan an event, and have nobody really partake or pay interest to it. Can be pretty disheartening.

I would be interested to see what you might come up with. That's okay. I'll be honest, I was more disappointed by the fact that there was actually some interest expressed in a possible redesign of the forum logo/banner, but when the opportunity arose (this forum contest) for them to come up with their own designs, they went silent and completely ignored other member's attempts to get in contact with them (despite logging onto Popedia several times a day for extensive periods of time). I won't name names or anything like that, but i'm not going to lie about how I felt in regards to the whole situation. I thought it was pretty slack.

Well, sometimes things happen, and people just freeze and don't really know what to do. I myself have gone through that many times lol. Anyways, I'll try working on some logos later today. I've got some ideas.
