What do you think are the worst songs to have been released in the 2000's? Here is my list: * "Drop It Like It's Hot" - Snoop Dogg ft. Pharrell (2004) * "My Humps" - The Black Eyed Peas (2005) * "Chamillionaire" - Ridin' ft. Krayzie Bone (2005) * "You're Beautiful" - James Blunt (2005) * "Crazy" - Gnarls Barkley (2006) * "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" - Beyonce (2008) * Any "Emo" songs. As you can see, I generally don't like the Mid 2000's for music.

I'm gonna have to agree with you. I think the mid 2000s had alot of trashy music particularly 2004-2008 (except 2007  ). The ones I put in bold I would have to agree would go down as some of the worst songs of the 2000s, but the other ones while I don't think they're very good, I wouldn't say their the worst lol. I'll make a list soon:)

To start off, I’m no Taylor Swift fan and all her music is just plain rubbish. There I said it. 😝
Here’s my shortlist of the worst songs from that period.
Now in no particular order:
Jennifer Lopez - "Jenny From the Block"
Gwen Stefani - "Hollaback Girl"
Lady Gaga - "Poker Face" (not really a fan of any of Gaga’s music).
Karmin "Acapella”
Black Eyed Peas, "The Time (Dirty Bit)"
Buck 22 feat. Billy Ray Cyrus, "Achy Breaky 2"
Kelly Osbourne - “Papa Don't Preach”
The Ting Tings - “Shut Up And Let Me Go” (I disliked all of the music by this band, particularly song “That’s Not My Name” which is so irritating!).
Lou Bega - “Tricky Tricky” (“Mambo No.5” was so catchy in the early 2000s and was a one-hit wonder for Lou Bega that’s for sure. This song of his was pretty bad).
Beyoncé - “Check On It”
Black Eyed Peas - “Boom Boom Pow” (didn’t mind most of their music but this was just terrible. “My Humps” unlike you, I didn’t mind it for some weird reason was really catchy 😜).
Fergie - “London Bridge”
Sia - “Chandelier”

The chorus is pretty annoying and repetitive. "Hollaback Girl" is quite ridiculous, but I don't really hate it, in all honesty. "Poker Face" isn't too bad IMO, although i'm not really a fan of Gaga's music either. I agree with the "Acapella" listing! It's funny that you should mention The Black Eyed Peas. Their music hasn't aged well at all. I actually really liked their songs when I was a kid, but in retrospect, a lot of their songs are quite tacky and ordinary. I agree with the "Achy Breaky 2" listing. "Papa Don't Preach" is a pretty ordinary cover, but I don't hate it. "Shut Up and Let Me Go" and "That's Not my Name" were overplayed to death when they were released! I think the former may have actually been used in a tv commercial (for the Hyundai i30, if I remember correctly). I personally don't dislike those songs, but I can completely understand why you (and other people) wouldn't like them! I don't think I have ever listened to "Tricky Tricky" before, to be honest. It doesn't ring any bells. As for "Check on It", I completely agree! I hate Beyonce's songs with a passion. Her song "Run The World" is probably one of the worst songs to have been released in the past 10-15 years. I also agree with your listing of "London Bridge". The Mid 2000s were just awful for music in general (especially 2006).  I'm not a fan of "Chandelier" either, but as longaotian pointed out, it was actually released in the 2010s. Still, it doesn't excuse the fact that it's an ordinary song.

But who knows, I guess there could a person out there named Max who likes playing music videos made by The Ting Tings. Haha, all good. If I thought about it longer before posting I would’ve picked up on what you meant. Either way, it’s a bloody awful repetitive song! 😣

These are all pretty terrible... I'm not a fan of any of those songs either, although I don't like rap and hip-hop music in general. I do admit to liking "Crazy Frog" when it was released in 2005 though.
