This is going to be a huge blow for a lot of Nintendo fans because Reggie is leaving the company. Those who keep up with gaming news know that Reggie has been one of the biggest memes in the gaming industry with quotes like "my body is ready" or "I'm here to kick a** and take names". I don't agree with a lot of his business deals but he's pretty charmistc and gave Nintendo that edge since he is from the gritty streets of Bronx NY while still keeping that Nintendo magic.

End of an era. With Iwata also having passed away, that's my teenage years fading away  I don't know how I'll carry on if something happens to Miyamoto.

This is the saddest thing that happen to Nintendo since iwata death. Reggie also played apart in my teenage years since I remember being in high school reading Nintendo life articles back in 2013-14 when I wanted to see the latest news on the wii-u. I wasn't crying over this since I haven't been as invested into gaming news like I was from 2013-16 but like iwata's death brought out a more fierce Nintendo with his creation the switch being underway and Krishama's marketing, the same might be true for Reggie retiring which doesn't have to the end since he's done other entertainment stuff besides Nintendo. He worked with vh1 and even was on a pizza hut commercial in the early 90s.
