I've never been much of a gamer, so i'm completely out of the loop on this. I just thought I would ask as I've noticed that Fortnite doesn't seem to be receiving as much media attention as it did just 6-12 months ago. I wasn't sure if it was because the game has dropped in popularity, or if it's simply because it has lost it's novelty factor.
Is Fortnite still popular?

Its still popular. But yep not everyone is playing it or talking about it like they were back in like March-July last year. I remember when I started uni last year at the beginning of March it was all over facebook and everyone was playing it lol.

I'm just surprised that it has declined to the extent that it has, because there was even a lot of controversy last year about how young kids are playing Fortnite. Now you don't hear anything about it.

Apex Legends seems to be the hot new game this year. Forrnite is still pretty big especially with the younger Z'ers.
