2000's were pretty good for movies, I have only a few favourite of that era (Harry Potter, Shrek, Cast-Away, Spider-Man Tobey Maguire series, Lord Of The Rings trilogy[even though you're not a fan of the series ] and much more that I can't fit in the bracket ). Yep. I like Shrek and the Spider-Man Tobey Maguire series as well. I generally have a bit of a soft spot for the 2000's, because quite a few of the movies I watched/liked when I was younger were released during the decade. One of my favourite childhood movies, "Elf", was released in 2003. I still don't mind watching it when it airs on Channel Nine each Christmas, to be honest. Blimey...how did I forget Elf?! I always love that film and still do to this day I would also watch it on Channel Nine even though I have it on Blu-ray.

1980's-1990's is my favourite era for movies. Certainly much better than the rubbish constantly churned out these days with the likes of ‘Skarknado’ and ‘The Emoji Movie’. 🤢 1980s were alright for movies but the 1990s and early 2000s was a step up again. 👍

I think the early-mid 2000s were the best for movies, the late 2000s were still good for movies but not my favourite.

Oh, I love the earlier Spider-Man movies with TM. The last couple have been rubbish with the new cast though. 😉

My favourite year for movies is definitely 1989. That year brought us Tim Burton's Batman, The Little Mermaid, Field of Dreams, Dead Poet's Society, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Henry V, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Ghostbusters II, Field of Dreams, Heathers' wide release, and my all-time #1 film Back to the Future Part II. There are still plenty more movies from 1989 that I haven't seen but have a strong interest in checking out regardless.
