That was the worst year of my life. In terms of my personal life, 2012 wasn't nearly as good as 2013, at least the early and mid part of it. Late 2012 was when things got more fun for me and 2013 as a whole from the beginning to the end was lit. I even remember crying when the ball dropped for 2014 and now I know why XD. 2014 was the second worst year of my life and the worst year for music in this decade IMO In terms of MY personal life.... F*ck any year after 2011.

To be honest, now that we are almost in 2018, I am definitely starting to feel a bit nostalgic for 2010 and 2011. Even though, it leaves me feeling bitter about how this decade panned out. 2010 and 2011 were really promising and I thought pop culture was heading in a good direction. However, then 2012 came along and ruined everything.  I admit, the fact that I started High School in 2012 probably influences my perception of the year, but even then, I still think 2012 changed the trajectory of this decade for the worst...

Yeah, it's funny to think back on how many truly believed that 2012 would be the end of the world. Yeah, my family and I never believed it, but I remember one of my friends (who was 18 at the time) was terrified, I was also surprised on how many people believed it. Well, the apocalypse was that year, don't you remember? There was also one in May 2011 I just looked it up, I guess I somehow missed hearing about that one. Just recently, there were some people claiming the world would end, I believe we're already passed the date that was predicted though, lol.
