Where does one draw the line between toddlerhood and childhood? Does childhood start when ones memories start to form? Or does it involve more complexity like cognitive development? From raising my little sisters, I would say around 3 to 3.5 is when you stop becoming a toddler. It's a combination of cognitive development and motor skills. Toddlerhood isnt a fixed age range. It is basically the time a child walks unsteadily after taking its first steps. Childhood does not have a fixed age range. To be honest, I hear people calling high schoolers kids, and even college students, so really, when would childhood even begin and end? Childhood biologically ends when you begin puberty. Being called a kid is slang, not a biological term. Technically I see many 3 and 4 year olds toddle. 2-year olds are not infants. I would say the first guaranteed age that is not a toddler is age 5. I have seen a few babies under the age of 2 who actually walk almost decently, which would mean there are some 2-year olds that dont toddle. It depends on the child. Not every child magically becomes self capable only when they hit the age 3.

Nope. Most people cannot remember, or only have vague images in their head of being 2.
