While both 70s and 80s elements were incorporated in some songs of this decade, I’m surprised that there are a little 90s inspired songs this decade. Seriously, there are a lot of genres from the 90s like New Jack Swing, Grunge, Slow Jam R&B, G-Funk Hip Hop, Eurodance/House, and Teen Pop that are just waiting to be incorporated into today’s songs.

There actually have been a lot of songs and trends from the 2010s which have drawn inspiration from the '90s. It's just that many of the influences have been overshadowed by the huge amount of public interest that remains for the 1980s, which was particularly the case during the first-half of this decade. The music influences from the '90s are definitely noticeable if you know where to look for them.
I'd argue that the 2010s indie scene has drawn a lot of inspiration from the alt-rock movement of the '90s. That minimalist, DIY ethic can be directly traced back to '90s alt-rock and you can really hear the stylistic influences in the works of artists such as Courtney Barnett and Violent Soho. Parallels can even be drawn between the values of the two subcultures as well, such as the rejection of mainstream excess, supporting minority groups and causes, as well as having beliefs which fall on left-side of the political spectrum.
Also, there are quite a few '90s-inspired songs which have become massive hits during this decade. 5 Seconds of Summer have been one of the most popular groups of the 2010s and back in the Mid 2010s, they were responsible for reviving the Late '90s pop-punk sound in the mainstream. Teen-pop (while not specifically a genre unique to the '90s) itself actually went through a revival after One Direction entered the mainstream back in 2011 and experienced a few years of success in the Top-40. Also, last year, you also had that new-jack swing inspired, Bruno Mars and Cardi B collaboration; "Finesse".

There have been a few attempts to recreate the bubblegum pop boy band/girl group craze of the early ‘00s. Fifth Harmony and One Direction come to mind.

House and teen pop DID make a comeback in the 2010s though. House especially in the form of electro house, progressive house, and big room house. And teen pop revival was a big thing in the early 10s. Justin Bieber, One Direction, Big Time Rush, Rebecca Black, etc. I actually consider it one of the defining sounds of the era. Strange as it sounds, it seems the early 10s are the most “90s-esque” part of the 2010s. Which actually makes sense given the 90s rep for being a period of relative calm and stability, and the early 10s fulfill this the best of any 21st century era by far.
