As the title suggests, this is a thread to discuss what your favourite books are. I don't read as much as I used to, but I have always preferred reading factual books rather than novels and fiction stories. When I was a kid, I used to like to read books about the evolution of species and astronomy, so I sort of don't really have any favourite series of books.

I’m kinda the same actually. I used to read heaps of factual books at school. The only fictional series that I remember reading and that I really liked was “Goosebumps”.

I could never really get into Goosebumps, to be honest. At my school, I remember pretty much everyone in my year group liked the Goosebumps books.

I liked reading the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books when I was younger I own the books, but I have never read them. I really like the first three movies. It was interesting to watch them, because the kids are around my age and they started High School around the same time I did. Have you watched the newest movie at all, the one released this year? I haven't, because it looks crap.

Did you ever watch the TV series? It just didn't really interest me. I was the weird kid who preferred reading books about the weather and the history of animation instead of books like Goosebumps. No I didn't.

I'm mostly into non-fiction these days as I don't have endless time to just sit and get through a book chapter by chapter. Recent book series I've read have been Peculiar Children and the first couple books from The Expanse by James S.A. Corey.
