Since everyone here seems to like politics now, I think this would make for an interesting discussion.
Personally, I think the 2010's are more of a liberal decade IMO. There's been a lot of push for body positivity, feminism, LGBT acceptance, even gender "non-binary" stuff. A lot of younger people seem to love change in this decade.

I'd choose moderate if it was an option but I'd say Liberal. As you mentioned, people are encouraged to be themselves & differences are accepted into society. People are less religious & traditional than they were 10 years ago.

The amount of hatred & violence conservatives go through just for stating their opinion is truly worrisome. I believe in freedom of speech & everyone should feel safe to express their opinions on the current state of the world.

College campuses don't speak for the entire population because they're compromised of young people and that demographic is mostly liberal leaning.

Except it doesn't just happen at college campuses, Khal. Conservative voices are being shut down on social media. And the left will attack anyone who doesn't fit their "woke" standards. Where were you when those flame wars happened? One conservative vs. a bunch of leftists who think everyone to the right of Biden is a racist homophobic POS. This is what's gonna happen if the media keeps reinforcing outrageous leftist views. God forbid a person is pro-life and all of a sudden they hate women. Or being against biological men competing in women's sports and all of a sudden they're transphobic. Or believe marriage is one man and one woman but wants the gays to be able to get married. And they're still gonna be called homophobic. It's never gonna be enough for the "tolerant" left.

It's funny because I was actually watching videos of conservatives getting hate from leftists on college campuses last night and there was this one video where a guy literally got punched in the face. Like bruh. There was also a post from inthe00s back in 2016 (I'm not going to say who made it) but they said that "Republicans hate LGBT by default". Like imagine being that out of touch lol. Some people are just way too indoctrinated by the media.

There's actually way more conservatives that support gay marriage than people like to think lol. There's black and gay conservatives and conservatives that aren't straight white males.

Interestingly enough, I knew a gay Trump supporter in 2017. He truly loved Trump & the policies he put into place. He was a big supporter of LGBT folks. We didn't agree, but he wasn't a bigot & refused to spread hatred.
