What is a video game, soundtrack within the game you still go back and listen to after long since finishing said game? For me, I still enjoy the soundtrack of Super Smash Bros. Melee. Its timeless, very satisfying and perfect to listen to, I love every minute of them. I find my self enjoying every soundtrack from Nintendo from the N64-Gamecube days due to the core escapism.
The Paper Mario TTYD soundtrack also go hard on loud speaker.

Hollow Knight
StarCraft (1 and 2)
Death Stranding
Earthbound
Final Fantasy (1 and 7)
Dungeon Siege
Zelda II: Adventure of Link
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Hyper Light Drifter
Fallout 3
And I have to agree with Super Smash Bros. in general; it’s a nice compilation of Nintendo’s greatest hits.

The soundtracks of Crash Bandicoot 3 and Spyro Year of The Dragon are enjoyable, bruh. I find my self getting more addicted to the soundtrack of Crash Bandicoot 3 as of late but.

A DS game called Radiant Historia. As soon as the game started, I was blown away by the music.
Hyrule Field in several Zelda games (Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess etc.) captures the epic adventure feeling perfectly.
Pokémon battle songs such as the gym leader or trainer battles always hype me up.
And Persona games. Mainly because the games are set in high schools, and I played the game while I was in high school. They were like the theme songs to my life, and they still are.

God, the DKC games have god-tier soundtracks. The Sonic games obviously also have fantastic soundtracks. Even Sonic 06, as godawful as that game is, still has a great soundtrack.

A huge reason why Nintendo destroyed Sega in the last few meters of the 16 bit war was due to DKC and it's amazing soundtrack, What a turn around to an epic fight !

I can't choose a favourite. Too many to name. Off the top of my head i'd say Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy 13, DOOM 2016/Eternal, Metal Gear Rising;Revengeance, Ghostrunner and Tales of Vesperia. But this list could change the next time I answer.

I can't choose a favourite. Too many to name. Off the top of my head i'd say Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy 13, DOOM 2016/Eternal, Metal Gear Rising;Revengeance, Ghostrunner and Tales of Vesperia. But this list could change the next time I answer. Oh man, the new Doom soundtracks are incredible. I also really like Metal Gear Rising too. Just going off those games, I wanna ask, are you a fan of metal/hard rock?

If we’re talking SNES soundtracks: DKC trilogy, Chrono Trigger, and Earthbound are at the top for me. I think the SNES was like the PS3 of the 90s. Maybe not to the same extreme, but I mean that in the way that it really became awesome during its later years. 1994 & 1995 easily have to be my favorite years of the SNES, and both are just amazing years for gaming in general, especially 1994.

I can listen to the Kingdom Hearts soundtrack over and over. In fact one of the songs was in my wedding!
This is what I walked down the aisle too!
I also love the Runescape soundtrack and funnily enough we also used a song from the Runescape soundtrack in our wedding.
I can listen to this song over and over!
