I used Menulog for the first time last night. Food delivery apps have been popular for years now, but honestly, I never really had much of a reason to use one beforehand. In fact, the only reason why I decided to give Menulog a go last night is because of the amount of rain we've been receiving and I really couldn't be stuffed to go out and pick up dinner. It was a good enough excuse for me to stay home, lol. I was pretty impressed with it. All of the fast food outlets (except for McDonalds, frustratingly) are available to order from and there's a range of different restaurants to choose from as well. The delivery fees for most of the restaurants are around $5-$6, which is pretty reasonable IMO, though there are exceptions. KFC charge a $9 delivery fee; there's no way I would ever consider paying that when the closest KFC is only 2kms away from where I live. Red Rooster offer free delivery as they run their own delivery service, however you need to spend at least $25 to get anything delivered. It's definitely something I will consider using again in future. The delivery came on time, the food was still hot after I had received it and the Menulog delivery driver was friendly as well. I'm not sure what Uber Eats and Deliveroo are like as they don't deliver to my address. Has anyone else here ever ordered anything off a food delivery app? What has your experiences with them been like?
