This is a repost that I see potential for post activeness. What is a video game adaption you want to see?
Video game franchises would offer some of the most unique takes, just waiting to be adapted but somehow are extremely ignored. I could list some titles that would totally make sense. Spyro: Year of The Dragon, if this were to be adapted, would have a clear purpose, fun and potentially a compelling storyline. Earthbound would also have potential for serious moments and weekly doses of character development. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, I could also see with promise, this version of Link could easily be written with its already fun cast of characters, all I can see airing on Cartoon Network.
If you want to get more serious, Metroid would offer a surprising welcome it wouldn't abuse, fun survival and completely watchable action. God of War I also see as a miss opportunity with its dark and grittiness I could totally see on Spike.

I think a GTA movie adaption would be interesting, especially one that was based around Trevor, Michael and Franklin from GTA 5. I know it wouldn't exactly be original (it would basically be like any stock-standard crime film), but still.

I think I want a new Super Mario Bros TV adaption that feels serious but all around light hearted. Damn, a Paper Mario TV adaption feels like a missed opportunity. Def Jam Fight For NY, I can see how it could work but is a literal pipe dream. True Crime Streets of LA had the perfect protagonist and should have been animated.

I think a Game of Thrones-style Legend of Zelda on Netflix was in the works until Nintendo cancelled it. A Zelda with a GoT budget would have been nothing less than epic.

This would be pretty rad as a full, Nintendo-endorsed series:

I actually watched it and it really is amazing. Nintendo has a rich source of fresh ideas when you dig into sequel of even their most popular IP's. I don't want to sound like a Nintendo fanboy tho. Grand Theft Auto can really be interesting but it should take place in LA, its iconic location setting. I'm also interested in a Saints Row TV adaption, a gang based adaption with a silly approach and colorful aesthetic.

Nothing wrong with being a Nintendo fanboy, I am one as well. Not the exclusion of everything else, but Nintendo always has been and most likely always will be my go-to.

A Kid Icarus TV adaption would be sick.

Castlevania and Dragon's Dogma are legit video game TV adaptions. Now that I think about it, a Conker's Bad Fur Day TV adaption makes so much sense and can be easily done.
