Dog culture has been on the rise in recent years and it has become more common to see them in public spaces. Stores, workplaces, hotels, restaurants, airplanes, etc. It has even been a trend for these places to actually advertise that pets are allowed. While some enjoy bringing them, others have complained that they are allergic or that they interfere with human activities. Recently this market in Denver has announced that dogs will no longer be allowed, to mixed reactions. Edgewater Public Market to end dog-friendly policy in MarchWhat is your opinion on this? Do you enjoy seeing/bringing dogs out, or do you think they are taking over?

I'm an owner of two dogs myself, but i'm not sure if I would feel comfortable bringing my golden labrador and staffy-cross into an indoor public space. There's just no need for it. If I were to see a dog inside a cafe or a retail store in general, it would immediately turn me off from wanting to go in there.

All this emotional support llamas on airplanes stuff that's been happening the last decade needs to stop. You don't need to take your animals everywhere with you.

I have no problem at all with dogs in public places. It's children and teenagers who should be banned.

I don't their presence in public spaces as long as the owner keeps them under tight control. The last thing I need is is a freakin' bull-dog trying to mess with me.

I mean, I hate the current generation of kids/teenagers as the next person (even though I'm not that far off), but that remark was a bit extreme I just have to assume it was a joke, hence my dying reaction.

LOL right this fake service animal trend is the equivalent of parking in a handicapped spot without a placard. Nobody dares say anything, but you can usually look at the animal and tell.

At least in my area, the era of loitering teenagers is long over.
It’s almost comical that I can remember when it was considered an actual “problem”.

It wasn't a joke, our Exclusive. Teenagers are mostly (though not all) troublemakers and children are just a nuisance. I've never been able to get along with young people.
