I don't miss the 2010s....... yet. Maybe a bit of 2014 and 2016? Maybe? Early 2010s definitely.
If this doesn't stop by September we're screwed.

I don't "miss" the 2010s yet (although I love them) but they're gonna have that nostalgic quality in 20 years time. I bet the 2010s will have more in common with the 1990s/2000s than with the 2030s.

I bet the 2020s will be awesome but I will say I’ve been feeling some nostalgia for the 2010s, like it’s only natural.

The sooner we can go back to my 2019 trends of artificial meat/meat substitutes the better lol.

^^^ It's probably going to take a while for the economy to come back. I'm worried that by 2025 we could still be feeling the effects of this and that's optimistic. Some are predicting this is the beginning of a long, permanent economic decline.

Doubt it, but let’s hope it doesn’t. we can’t literally have two decades that has the 20’s in it go through some sort of economic depression, I hope 😂

People have been saying lately that the situation with the world right now make the events that occurred during the 2010s seem insignificant in comparison, but I really don't see it that way at all. I don't miss the 2010s. In fact, I would be more inclined to say good riddance to them. I'm not going to suddenly pretend that the rise of alt-right extremism, Trump's election, the Ebola epidemic and lone-wolf terrorist attacks weren't worrying things in their own right. The decade started off promising; I actually like 2010 and 2011 as pop cultural years, but that all came crashing down in 2012 and the decade got progressively worse as it went on. It's not a time I would ever choose to go back to if I had the choice. I'm sure it was a great decade to have been a kid in, but to have been a teenager? Forget it.

As bad as things were in the 2010s, life still went on. Nowadays it looks like it's going to be 5+ years before we return to any kind of "normal" and that's being optimistic. One thing I had in the 2010s that I no longer do is hope for a better tomorrow. I agree on 2010 and 2011. Those are two of my favorite years ever. My personal life took a sharp downhill turn in 2012 and never really recovered. 2012 and 2013 were probably the worst years of my life until 2020. 2017 is my favorite post-2012 year. Things were finally starting to go a bit better then. I also think the music of that year was an improvement over the previous few years.

I especially miss the early 2010s.
I'll miss hearing catchy hit songs on pop radio, going outside with my neighborhood friends, watching Adventure Time and Regular Show every Monday, playing on my 3DS, and watching Smosh and "Gangnam Style" on YouTube.
I actually wanna go back to that time now, LOL.

And gay bars were so fun back then, especially since before everyone had smartphones some people still went to bars to meet and mingle with strangers. It's hard to believe it's been 10 years since 2010. What I would give to return to those days.

Oh, I don't regret making this thread despite being half-drunk Plus y'all will bombard this forum with threads like this in a few years, might as well get a head start ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
