Inspired by the "Worst year of the 2000's" poll thread. What's your favorite 2010's year?
My favorite is honestly 2013. Not only was it the best time of my life, but I just loved the vibe of that year. It was a good balance between the early 2010's and mid-2010's culture. It was a very unique year culturally. In many ways, it reminds me of 2007.

2016 was my favorite! I had my first kiss & had the best summer of my life. I started high school & made a ton of friends. What a great year.

2013.
Early Sophomore year was the best, I'd go back in a heartbeat. Plus it was probably the last non-chaotic year politically, as it was not only before Trump entered the spotlight, but also before the whole Crimean and ISIS crisis.
Also, 5FDP released a great album that year;

2016. The summer was fabulous and joyful. When president Donald Trump won the political race, my family was extremely proud.

I loved every year of the 2010s. It's hard to pick a favourite.
Edit: I picked 2018, but I was tempted to pick 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2019 as well.

2010, before I moved to Shit Jersey and experienced hell. Gotta agree with others on 2016 tho. Best year of my life post 2011. Too bad 2017 had to be shitty.

Summer 2016 was like a free trial to heaven. Definitely. I was a careless young girl in the summer of 2016. I had no concerns. Everything was extraordinary. Individuals were heading outside, cheerful like normal. Oh, what I'd do to go back to those lovely days.

Summer 2016 was like a free trial to heaven. Good thing I'm going to hell then! Just kidding.  I remember 2016 for terrorist attacks week after week, a huge number of refugees flooding into the country or drowning at sea, and words like "post-truth" and "gas lighting" become words of the year. Especially when ISIS attacked that gay nightclub in Florida it just hit too close to home. The whole year felt surreal. Then there was Trump's election to put the cherry on top of the giant pile of dinosaur shit. But I was 23 that year and started working full time. I have two little sisters your age. I remember taking them to the theatres to see Zootopia and Finding Dory, taking them with me on my Pokémon GO trips, sending them off to summer camp where the camp counsellors my age forced them to sing Backstreet Boys and of course the second greatest girl group of all time (Fifth Harmony) was everywhere that year. In 2016 I remember asking my sister if she knows who Obama is, and she said "Oh, you mean the girl on the Disney Channel?" I wish I could have been so innocent in a hectic year like 2016.
