John Titor remembers the Hype for Spider-Man 3

I remember like it was yesterday, Umbrella by Rihanna and Apologize by One Republic were being played 24/7 on tv.
Guys this movie was being hyped up a few weeks after the second movie (the best one) came out. I could not wait to
see Venom. Weeks and Weeks went by in 2007 counting down the days until Spiderman 3 would drop. Who could
forget the commercials on FX and Cartoon Nework " COMING SOOOOOOn" it got you so hyped.
................and then the actual movie, this thing sucked so hard talk about deflated hype. When I saw EMO Peter Parker dancing
in the street I just shook my head, seeing Eric Foreman as Venom left tons to be desired. I could not believe THIS is the MOVIE
we had been wait for so long? This movie is a perfect example of hype levels exceeding the actual quality of the movie itself.
The movies opening weekend at the time was the highest ever, but word of mouth got around and by week 2 this movie was panned.
In terms of the actual movie it is a 1/10 but......... as for hype and marketing I give it a 10/10 the hype levels were
insane going into this.
