What a shame, turning 18 in 2020...

I know the feeling as I had an important milestone this year as well, but on the other hand, at least we got to spend our birthdays safe and in the comfort of our own homes. There's plenty of people out there who have it much worse. They may know someone in their close family who has the coronavirus, or they themselves are possibly having to go into self-isolation for 14 days without having face-to-face contact with anyone. Imagine that happening on your 18th birthday. Not being able to catch up with friends or go out somewhere is hard, but at least you're still in good health and so are the people who you care for. Happy birthday.

Hey c’mon now, your still going to have a good adult life after this is over and the world isn’t ruined, at least not anymore then it usually is lol.

And once this is all over then theirs at least not much stopping you to go out and do something as a late birthday kind of thing, what helps me is that I know many others are in the same boat as you and me are not alone. Plus theirs always your 21s birthday  (though if you aren’t American I guess that isn’t a milestone age but still you got your 20s)

The one time I'll be thankful for being a winter baby. I've had many a birthdays cancelled or friends dipping the last minute thanks to blizzards and extreme cold so don't come looking to me for sympathy!

Yes, just as you leave high school and are no longer considered a minor, this is how it must be. Imagine if you were looking forward to dorming with a roommate, but that may not happen now due to self quarantine. Aside from this self quarantine, I am actually under a lot of additional stress that I am not able to speak of on here, but it is really rotting my brain.
