Has anyone here ever accessed the dark web or has any experiences/stories of it?
I've personally never gone on it myself, but my Uncle (who has extensive knowledge on coding and IT in general) has. I remember he told my Mum and I during one of our visits down to Tassie a few years ago that you can easily search for and access step by step instructions on how to make bombs on the dark web. I know that there's far worse content out there though.

I use the dark web!
If you want to find something dodgy, like bomb making, you can. You just have to go find it. Everything is hidden away but once you find a directory, you can find anything.
It doesn't just have illegal stuff on it. But it has some veeeeery illegal stuff on it!
It's also weird when you go on a forum there. Cos you know when it feels like we're all sort of the same here? On there you can be talking to crackheads, arms dealers, drug cartels...but everyone seems the same as here. It's strange knowing you're talking to some pretty bad people, so I steer clear of that!

No I haven't and I don't know anyone who did (at least who admitted).
Don't think I will ever. Not interested in all that shady market stuff like drugs and firearms, and the probably illegal porn flooding it.

Yeah, I've read some pretty horrific stuff about some of what goes on in the dark web. There's reportedly numerous websites set up to allow people to "buy" women and children who are being held hostage for human trafficking purposes and there are even live-streams of people committing rapes. It's absolutely awful to think that these things are being carried out right as we are speaking, and the people responsible are ultimately getting away with it.
