I only started playing the PS4 this year lmao. These years are going by way too fast. Looks like a PC but I'm excited to see the photorealistic graphics! why did they choose that design ewwwww lets see what ps5 has in store Looks like Amazon Echo/Google Home kind of device. I don't agree with this design choice since those devices are supposed to look inconspicuous. A gaming console on the other hand should stand out, it is definitely a piece of furniture you want to show off.

A gaming console on the other hand should stand out, it is definitely a piece of furniture you want to show off. I wish they called it like Xbox 4 or something Xbox Series X just sounds like a XBox slim version of a pre existing model, I just saw gameplay video, the shooter game looked cool but Madden looked the same to me.

It's a rather unique design for such a popular gaming console. I like that they go a bit experimental design-wise this generation, the Switch is also pretty unconventional looking if it's considered part of gen 9.
Generation 8 felt too much like an obvious sequel to gen 7 in comparison.

I'll probably be skipping out on 9th gen consoles, 8th gen has barley any games that I like and I don't see the appeal in games becoming more photo realistic.
