Ps3 was an amazing system..........when the slim came out in 2009, but does anyone remember when ps3s were not selling for a few years... I remember when it launched in 2006 and HYPE was EVERYWHERE for about 2 weeks and then they just stood in stores being unsold while Xbox 360 and Wii took all the hype away. Lots of ps3 ports were slow and buggy and unresponsive at this time, and quite frankly played bad !

I don't because I never cared about the PS3, not even when I got one for Christmas really. I still played the 360 far more.

In hindsight though the console wars of the 7th generation were a blast. PS3 vs 360 is definitely the gen z equivalent of SNES vs Genesis.

That's because they were so expensive. I can remember wanting one when I was 8, but when they first came out here in Australia, they were being sold for around $900. There was definitely hype for it, but most people couldn't afford them.

I had one at the time, around 2007 or so, and I lost interest in modern gaming due to how boring the games felt, I couldn't force myself to like it and it just gathered dust, it also felt really out of place for the time it was released due to it's bulky size. I ended up trading one for wii at some point after and seriously getting into retro gaming even more than I already had shortly after. Nintendo all the way.

HD DVD being a separate add-on proved to be a blessing in disguise, as HD DVD ended up as a failure LMAO
