Can't remember. Must've been in 1995 or 1996 or something. My dad told me I broke the floppy disk by sticking pencils in it

My parents were never fuzzed about getting a computer until the year 2007 where compagnies started to prefer the email format over the postal one when it comes to sending facturations. The first we got was a crappy HP laptop . If you don't mind me asking, what age bracket are your parents in? The reason why I ask is because it's interesting that they held off from buying a computer until as late as 2007. The majority of people would have already owned a computer by that point.

The majority of people would have already owned a computer by that point. They're part of the core-gen X crew (1970 & 1974), they got me pretty young I asked my mom today about it, and she said that they didn't felt like needing it since they were a bunch of cyber cafes not far away where we lived. Plus getting internet in our appartement was a hassle apparently. Once WI-FI became ubiquitous around 2006-2007, they had more of a reason to reconsider it.
