I can understand if you may not remember this (it's not something everyone generally thinks about ), but for anyone who can, what was the first type of computer you ever used?
The first computer I ever used was the desktop PC pictured in the photo above. I learnt how to use a computer in Preschool back in 2003, when I was only 4 years old. I'm not exactly sure what model the computer is, so I've had to use this photo to share what it looked like. The photo itself was taken in 2004.

The very first Computer i've ever used was a iMac G3 (like the one SharksFan99 mentioned) back in Kindy. Gosh, I remember the fun days in the 'computer lab' when the teacher would say "Free Time!".

Haha. Did the computers at your school have "Marble Blast" on them? That was one of my favourite computer games when I was in primary.

I cannot remember what brand they were, but some had Windows 95 and XP (and like SharksFan99 some were still being used when I left ). I remember getting so excited when we got to play "Kids Pix" when it was free time.

It's interesting that some of the computers you used had Windows 95 on them! I guess it just would have depended on how old the computer models were. I don't think any of the computers at my pre-school and primary school had Windows 95 installed on them.

Back in the computer room at my old house me and my sisters had an old Windows 95 computer that we used and then my parents had a Windows 98. I remember playing all my CD games on these computers when I was really little like at Preschool. Then I think around late '05 -early '06 we got more "modern" computers that ran XP. The last year that we had a running Desktop PC in our house was 2012. Now we just all have laptops/iPads instead.

My PS updated their computers every five years, and would take another five or so to completely phase out the previous operating system.

Until I went to High School, we had computers running Windows XP until I was given a Laptop in Year 9 which had Windows 7 on it.

The computers/laptops at my primary school were mostly Mac as well, now that I think about it. Macs must be provided for teachers by the Government, because my primary school and high school teachers all had their own personal Mac laptops. Up until the beginning of this year, all of the computers at my high school had been running Windows 7. They upgraded them to Windows 7 before I started High School in January 2012.

First computer I ever used was an Amiga 500 Commodore that my grandparents owned. Through my schooling years Windows PCs were used for the most part. Only the “elite schools” had any Apple computers lol.

The first time I used a computer was my uncle's which I don't remember exactly what it was but it was a big ol' beige desktop. My parents were never fuzzed about getting a computer until the year 2007 where compagnies started to prefer the email format over the postal one when it comes to sending facturations. The first we got was a crappy HP laptop .
