With Time Machines, I have mixed feelings about it. The pros are that you can visit any era you want, it can be the Renaissance, The Y2K Era, the 1950s, etc. With that, you can also meet new friends from different time periods and experience what life was like.
At the same time, people can fuck up the past by doing shit and making consequences for the present/future.
Fortunately or unfortunately, time travel to the past just isn't possible, according to the vast majority of scientists 😐/😀

He's anonymous with everything.

Mp3s did more damage than good in my opinion. Unrestricted access to internet porn, and questionable websites Certain aspects of smart phones Most hook up based dating apps Most social media Reddit and 4chan Wikipedia being as easily editable or inaccurate as it can be Certain aspects of netflix Youtube being open to questionable content Mini motorcycles due to how dangerous they can be

The nuclear bomb is up there, while having caused actual massive damage only on select few occasions scattered throughout modern history, it still is to this day the biggest contributors to political unease, tension and unwillingness to compromise between countries. That's a trash take, it belongs in the trash bin The fear of nuclear annihilation is the sole thing keeping the powerful countries from declaring direct war on each other When was the last time we had powerful countries like Russia, Britain, Japan, USA, France, Germany and many others declaring wars one each other? The sole reason we haven't had a ww3 is because of the fear of a nuclear armageddon I am for once incredibly glad nuclear bombs were invented Some bad things are simply necessary for the greater good, it's called a 'sacrifice'

There hasn't been a third world war because of peace treaties and world organizations like the UN and EU assuring peace between the countries and solutions when a problem comes up. And the world is so globalized at this point that a world war just doesn't make sense. You seem to forgot there was a whole entire Cold War that lasted for decades and with many awful consequences thanks to your supposedly helpful bombs. Sacrifices are only beneficial if you're actually smart about them. And the world would certainly be a better place without the bomb.

You seem to forgot there was a whole entire Cold War that lasted for decades and with many awful consequences thanks to your supposedly helpful bombs. Sacrifices are only beneficial if you're actually smart about them. And the world would certainly be a better place without the bomb. I will repeat myself and hopefully you will understand it this time Without nuclear bombs there would've been more wars, more destruction. A war death-count in the hundreds of millions, perhaps even in the billions if we saw consecutive wars in populated continents like Asia Perpetual wars would have been the norm, the use of chemical weapons would be have been more normalized. Biological warfare would be the replacement for nuclear bombs The UN is very useful but it would NEVER be able to stop a ww3 Ww2 would have lingered on for longer without the 2 nukes, Japan would have been invaded, millions and millions would die... Much more people would have been killed by this invasion than by the nukes since Japan was willing to fight until the end It's funny you mention the cold war because —without nukes— the cold war would have been a direct conflict between several countries. Without nukes direct conflict would have been incentivaded. nuclear power wouldn't exist We would be way more dependent on fossil fuels, hurting the planet more than we do right now. The space progam would also struggle. Also: no nuclear medicine... No chemotherapy, no treatments that use radiation.
