I know some of you guys also enjoy these historical videos and I think it's more rare to find them from outside the West. Super interesting to see the Japanese and Western styles of clothing alongside each other.

I've been so obsessed with these videos of old Tokyo. This is my first time seeing one this old though. Wow, this was before true globalization, although you can see it slowly trickling in. I'm in awe.
I don't think the colour reproduction is accurate though, way too black and dreary. I bet there was more colour IRL.
This is one from Tokyo in the 1940s. Way more modern than the 1910s.
This one is from 1973. Lol I've never been to Tokyo or was alive in 1973 but I can imagine myself being in my dad's body and being on this trip. This video gives me feels.
