About the Scooby-Doo Movie, I disagree a little bit. The movie to me just gives off strong Y2K Aesthetic Vibes. Like Late 1999/2000 ish. Probably the last movie that gives off that kind of vibe. Now Scooby Doo 2 on the other hand though, yes that flick is Early 2000s. I agree with this. The 2002 version does give distinct Y2K energy and it looks like something that could’ve been released in either 1999 or 2000. Nonetheless, it’s still an early 2000s movie.

Yeah, from like 1999 till 2003, movies were just pure gold. You had some real cerebral gems like Memento and Fight Club on the one hand and really fun or epic flicks like Shrek and the Lord of the Rings trilogy on the other. I definitely agree that the early 2000s was a great age for movies. I like how movies from this time are fun, yet also not shallow. There is still a degree of depth to most of them. I would put 2004 in that category as well. That was a great year for movies.

Moulin Rouge is a musical from the early 2000s, and it was quite popular. In fact, it actually inspired the music video for Mr Brightside.
