As the title suggests.
I personally don't enjoy sticking to a routine at all, having a plan well in advance is really off-putting for me. I like to be able to do things whenever I feel like it, not because it happens to be a certain time of the day.

Yes. I have Asperger's and this is a common trait.

I do things spontaneously. Probably just a result of my inability to get my life together

I have an app that keeps track of my habits, and I try to keep a long "streak" of days on each habit. I had a 29 day streak for reading French everyday, and a 91 day streak for watching programming tutorials. I think the longest streak I had for going to the gym was 6 weeks, before the pandemic came in. Anyway, yes, I like routines. I'm horrible at one-off tasks like renewing my driver's licence (which expired in late March lmao) or returning a library book (I have a $60 late fee on one) – but it's okay since these are waived during the pandemic.

I hate it but my brain is also naturally systematic. I start doing things in a specific order out of efficiency but I get very burnt out and bored of it before very long. I fight myself enough about it, which makes me struggle to be in an environment where its expected.

I am normally spontaneous. I cannot for the life of me keep a consistent routine without eventually falling bored and seeking for a change.

I'm autistic. Routine is everything.

Routine for work and important events, things I have to prepare myself for is helpful for me to learn how to manage my moods better no matter how I'm feeling, and I like waking up at a certain time too because my sleep isn't so messed up anymore. Outside of that, I'm more spontaneous with decisions. I'd rather hang out when I'm feeling sociable, do my house chores when I feel like it (also helps me learn to manage my time better)!
