Love it. Like a 2000s sticker book. Honestly, we need decade bio type books that talk about what peaked, was the most popular in that decade like the "I love the 2000s" but have it be in history type book format with pictures of popular albums, internet pages, iconic moments with descriptions for example.

Looks great. Would be cool if you could add spring 2001 and mid to late 03 and early 04, the transitional early 00s. But comes down to how you view them, so it’s up to you. Mid 2001 to early 03 are def the pure early 2000s for sure, even if it was just starting to fade towards the end of early 03 or at someone point then.

Fascinating! I will also add to the timeline as well.
July/Aug 01: Mini Recession, Final Fantasy: The Spirit Within Hype, Aaliyah, Michael Jackson's musical comeback
Late 2001: Yu-Gi-Oh made its debut, P!nk changing her image and musical style, US invasion of Afghanistan, Anthrax Attacks, IPod, Paige replaced Prue on Charmed, John Clark, Jr and Rita Ortiz took over Danny and Diane's spot on NYPD Blue. Pop Music now has that the Neptunes influence, Murder Inc was one of the biggest labels in Hip Hop.
1st half 2002: Ashanti got really popular, so many boy bands breaking up by that point.
2nd half 2002: Eminem was everywhere, rapper Nelly was everywhere too, Zoog Disney was now Disney Channel, American Idol's success along with Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera was now "Dirrty Xtina"
Early 2003: US Invasion of Iraq, Teen series of the late 90s(Buffy, Dawson's Creek, Sabrina the Teenage Witch) ended at that time.
