Top 20 Songs (2017)

Unfortunately the crappiness of 2016 bleeded into 2017, resulting in another year I don't like with quite a bit of abysmal crap. On the other hand, it's certainly an improvement over last year's pit of despair as there are a lot more songs that I'm fond of. There's a LOT more trap hitting it big this year compared to even 2016, with SoundCloud rap in particular showing its mumbling head onto the charts for the first time. That and the still dominating EDM genres are doing their best pushing even conventional pop out of the charts for total control, while super echoey productions are now the norm.
