Listening to popular hip hop nowadays, I've heard this distinct style of trap where it has guitar driven beats and a laidback vibe. Here are some examples of this trend.

I wonder what is the first song to have that 2020s trap influence to succeed in the charts? Since late 2012/2013, Trap has been a been a major popular musical genre. So far, there has been 3 distinctive sub-eras in the trap game.
ERA 1: (Late 2012-2015)
Era 2: (2016-2018/19)
Era 3: (2019-present)

It seems like trap is getting a lot more slower, minimalistic, and rock-infused, especially with the songs like "Mood" and "Come & Go". I wouldn't be surprised if the subgenre goes down this route.

Basically, bounce has been mixed in to give it a faster beat, along with a few DJ Mustard-influenced beats that has been slightly revived. At first, I didnt like it, but the more I listen to it, its actually catchier than the Trap and Mumble Rap in 2016-2019.
