I have an air 2 running ipad os14 and I am seeing these new ipads with 14X chips and what not. Looks sick.........
but at the end of the day its a giant Iphone. It is cool it has magic keyboard and magic mouse support but still...

Tablets are only useful in very specific situations. imo it would be better to just invest in a laptop.

iPads and tablets in general have essentially become obsolete, you can buy laptops now which have detachable keyboards and smartphones have become so big over the years that there's no longer any advantage in getting an iPad/tablet. I wouldn't buy one.

I wouldn't buy one. What I find ridiculous about ipads is that they are always a pain to stand exactly how you want them do despite numerous things you can buy to help with this. I find they can be quite limited at times. Reading ebooks or really simple specific tasks can be pain sometimes.

I wouldn't buy one. the only good thing its for really is taking notes fast, if you in a car or drawing on it. The power is still not there yet with Ipads. I HATE that it runs ios.

I know seriously lol I am thinking about getting one of those a14X arm Imacs that are debuting at the end of next month, like I never even use a laptop... why would I need an ipad lmao I think @slowpoke solidified my decision in not getting the 2020 Pro or the air 4

Lets pitch it to apple lol.

I actually saw an aluminum model recently from 2003 or 2004 that looked mostly identical to typical mac book pro from the late 2000s. But the style probably wasn’t in full effect probably until 2007-2008.

One of my sisters has a laptop and a desktop computer. My other sister just has a regular desktop and my mom doesn't touch computers. They all stopped using their iPads.
