IMO: Dance-pop: Late 2004 to Mid 2008 Starting with Gwen Stefani's "What You Waiting For?" and ending with Lady Gaga's "Just Dance".Electropop: Late 2008 to Early 2013. Starting with Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" and ending with the Harlem Shake in Early 2013.I would consider them to have been two separate sub-genres. Dance-pop may have been something of a precursor to the electropop scene of the early 2010s, but there were also a number of stylistic differences between them too. Dance-pop: {Spoiler}
Electropop: {Spoiler}

I really should have separated them tbh, its funny Lady Gaga said that LAMB and Nelly's Loose inspired her a little bit to make The Fame ,thats why some outfits look like Gwen
