This is indeed a huge political shift for the US. I mean you go from a privileged, egocentric, boorish, loudmouthed and bigoted president to a calm, measured, mindful and inclusive one with very humble beginnings. Biden is the complete opposite of Trump in almost every way.

Trump finally plays a good candidate and gets exposed for the trash candidate he is. By the way, Biden is the the best candidate in the USA. He doesn't need Florida or Ohio to win elections. Enjoy watching Biden dominate in January next year.
Anyone else get the reference?

I hope the election moves our minds towards the 2020s state of mind and quickly throw away any remnants of the last decade. A big bonus if the vaccine will be announced later this month. What a big win for the people.

I can't tell if this is real or not but I hope it is. This, this is the exact opposite of how we're all feeling.

This election is one for the history books. Before this election I had no hope for this country but I'm happy this idiot will finally leave office. Seeing the first woc VP elected gives me the same feeling I had back in November 2008 when I witnessed the first black president as a young 7 year old kid who was brand new to america still trying to get used to the english language. I hope young kids these days can be excited for kamala as I was for obama. Heres to a better future and a better president.

2020 has been such a transitional year lol. New president elected, new gen game consoles, covid-19 and so on... Btw, congrats for Joe Biden, I was sooooo sick of Trump. Probably the most changeful year since 2008. Heck it’s even more transitional than 2008. Lol. may I dare say haha

dat astrology lol Having been alive for MAJOR shift years, 1997, 2001, 2008, and now 2020 I can honestly say 2020 is the biggest shift year in my lifetime Agreed. XD 2020 is kind of a split year with January-February still feeling like the late 2010s & March 2020-present being a preview of the early 2020s, with elements of late 2010s still around. Have u noticed any changes in music, movies, TV, fashion besides masks this year from 2016-2019? Despite 2019 being part of the 2010s there was some changes happening, Pop punk was slowly coming back (as evidenced by Emo nite and MGK's new album) Tik Tok blew up and Game of Thrones a staple 2010s show ended, fashion started moving away from main 2010s influences with Hipster getting shot in the head for the final final time and cottage core, Puffy slevees started creeping in. Disney plus blowing up as well. Oh and who could forget the end of the Marvel main Universe part 1. Spoiler LOL Spiderman Far from home introduces the Sam Rami 2000s verse and other multi verses. Also Only Fans started gaining traction in 2019 as well. This is all small minute changes in the background that set up 2020. 2019 was def not a shift but layed some blueprints for 2020.

Oh damn I have 2 really check out the pop punk movement, since I never experienced it in the early 2000s. How could I forget Tik Tok blowing up along with Billie Eilish?! Smh! 🤦🏽♂️ Lmao I turned 21 in 2019, so I would’ve been somewhat aware of pop culture that year. But it seems long ago now with what’s been going on. 😂 Cottage core is kind of interesting in that it reminds me of LoFi/chill hop. It looks kinda dreamy. There’ll be streaming wars in the 2020s kinda how Blockbuster & Hollywood Videos (went 2 both those stores in the early-mid 2000s) were competing in the 2000s (correct me if I’m wrong). Blockbusters in my area closed in 2006, along with Sam Goody, Tower Records, Ritz Camera, maybe Radio Shack too. Nostalgia tehehe. your Blockbuster closed in 2006 ? way early

your Blockbuster closed in 2006 ? way early Yes. Correction: most of them closed in 2006 with remaining closing in 2013. The blockbuster near me closed in 2011 and the one in my cousins town closed in 2010, I don't think most Blockbusters closed during 2006 that is way 2 early. Netflix streaming on devices didn't catch on until 2010/2011

Blockbuster peaked in the 2004-2005 school year according to graph data, wait your rental store closed in 2004 ? was it a small ? According to the graph which I can't find at the moment Blockbuster started going down year by year from 2006 2007 2008 and dipped hard in 2009. When Netflix started becoming popular on steaming device the whole stock plunged.
