Bump I have a feeling that the second half of 2021 would be different from January 2021. I agree. 2021 has been giving me a 2001 vibe with the new president, changes in music, changes in fashion and a new Playstation console. I am sensing a backlash against what the 2010s stood for. Honestly the 2010s deserve backlash. I have a feeling that fall 2021 will feel, as @johntitor puts it, BRAND NEW or when the culture reboots. Fall 2021 will be a different world from 2020, even Winter 2020/2021. Fall 2021 will feel solidly early 2020s. Spring-summer 2021 feels like the transition is almost complete. 2021 right now  we are almost there, just give it to the fall. I hated the 2010s so much so so so so so much, so they deserve the backlash.

Yes usually in the fall, at the start of the new school year is when the changes come and hit full circle. People realize “Oh shit! We’re in a new era! Now it all makes sense!” The 2010s mostly sucked ass. I have a soft spot for late 2018-2019 due to personal life. I remember you saying that 2010 and 2011 were the only good years for you. Yeah, late 2001, late 2004 that BRAND NEW feeling, yeah you going to get that in a few months

Thank goodness I'm not the only one who thought that late 2021 will be widely different than 2020 and the late 2010s. It'd be like late 2001, only in reverse.

I have a feeling the 2020’s will be like a reverse 2010’s. The 2010’s started off as very optimistic with upbeat electropop music and hope for the future, but then in 2016 Trump was elected and things got a lot more downbeat. 2020 was probably the worst year most of us have ever witnessed in our lives, but I feel like the 2020’s will progress into a more optimistic era, which is quite the opposite of what the 2010’s did IMO.

I knew this was going happen 2 lol I hate the 2010s so much. Yeah, like right now has those Summer 2001 bubbling changes happening, by the time the fall happens we are all going to be like wow.
