Well alright, it technically won't be 3 years old until February, but we're close enough to it anyway. It seems as though it was only yesterday that the song was released and was on top of the charts for months. It's scary how fast time goes.

Could be 5 years ago to me honestly. Drake's reign of terror in the first half of 2018 seems like a recent memory, but so much stuff happened in the meantime.

To be honest, this song doesn't sound like it could come out in 2020, or even 2019. There's just something about the way it sounds that screams 2018, or maybe it's just the memories of it being played on the radio all the time that year.

Wow, time passes by real fast. That song played like crazy at my college when it came out. It sounds uniquely 2018.

Omg, I remember jamming to this while playing Fortnite in Season 2/3 with my squad or duos friends😌
It sounds nowhere near dated, its just that Trap sounds bouncier nowadays and uses guitars, starting with Nice for what or In My Feelings from the same singer, same year lol, but I could still see this song somewhat passing today

A lot may have changed in the world since "God's Plan" was released, but we're definitely still in that same era of music.

On a side note, I think 2018 was the peak of Drake's mainstream career. Crazy to think that his first album "Thank Me Later" came out 10 years ago too.

He was big in the early 2010s for sure but he was in literally everything in 2018, that was his year.
