I hate to be the cynic, but this isn’t going to kill Comcast. They have an effective regional monopoly in several U.S. states, because state legislatures have allowed them to, effectively killing any competitor before it can even dream of competing. I mean, they knocked Google Fiber out of the game. It’s the most fucked up of fucked up situations, where we cannot kill it because corporate is in bed with the local government.
