We’ve had a lot of atmosphere threads for the late 2000s though no? Why not try different kinds of sub themes related to certain things for then or different years at least for a bit.

it's looking like people are voting late 2000s so far Fuck the late 2000s! They're a shit stain on the 2000s decade! Mostly Millennial 90's kid elitists say that crap.

We should do an atmosphere thread of the late 80s. Now that would be interesting.

I agree but I feel that there are different sides of pop culture that have yet to be explored for even then or trends outside of North America that have yet to be covered.Example could be chavs, toy trends, or types of films but could be anything. We definitely need more exploration on the mid 90s. 70s-early 90s as well, if it’s possible. Preferably not just the surface stuff.

Nowadays, some people think 2009 is the epitome of 2000s pop culture LOL. I personally think that 2007 is the epitome of 2000s pop culture. The year had Myspace at its peak, emo culture, ringtone/snap rap, Golden Age YouTube, 7th gen consoles (PS3, 360, and Wii) fully competing with each other, Sidekicks, Nokias, etc. But to answer the OP: definitely late 00s.

Yeah, IMO any year from 2004 to 2007 can be seen as the epitome of 2000s pop culture.

Do we have many threads from the year 2000? I wouldn't mind seeing that or 2009-2012.
