What do you think the main difference is between someone in the 90s and someone from 2020 who is copying 90s style? Actual 90s clothes I think are much less revealing. Also I think some things from the 90s have caught on while others have just stayed in the 90s. I find that girls copy 90s style a lot more than guys do. Anything else?

Anything else? this should be 90s fashion vs 2010s fashion as 2010s is when the 90s came back into fashion I actually made a post about this last year, the 90s style in the 2010s was not as baggy.

2010s fashion is centered on 1989-1992 or inspiration from that since 2009-2010 till now, with it being a bit less 80s from 12/2013 onwards.
We start some influences from late 1992-1996 from 2017- present and less flashy early 90s stuff from like 2011-2014 but mostly the same.
It really never fully embraced the mid 90s, late 90s or early y2k fashion yet.
It also never fully embraced equally parted grunge hair, hairflips, curtains, frosted tips, regular 90s jeans, fanny packs, nba gear, super baggy jeans etc

Apparently this is somehow 90s-inspired: I only see some very vague inspirations. But everything from the colors to the cuts is very modern looking as you can see:

But everything from the colors to the cuts is very modern looking as you can see: a lot of 90s fashion that came back in the 2010s were new versions and cuts of old archive fits, even the color lens on sunglasses is a late 90s trend, hell even some mid 90s trends as well. When fashion comes back it does not have the same cut as it did before, its reinterpreted with a new form. Perfect example of a mid 90s fit in the 2010s

Perfect example of a mid 90s fit in the 2010s True from 1992-1993 to 1996 old school adidas and pumas were becoming cool again in casual fashion, but also things like ravers, skaters, early nu metal fans etc Beastie Boys 1992: Kate moss in 1993 Jamirquoi 1994: Korn 1994-1995:

Tbh, you could slap on anything super casual and you would fit into the 90s pretty easily lol.
