No, I don't think so:
* In many occupations, women still overwhelmingly earn a much smaller income than men. * They also make up a small percentage of high-profile roles, such as CEOs, administrators etc. * Male births are considered to be more desirable and of more importance in some cultures, such as in China and in India. * Up until about the early 2010s, any activity that was stereotypically female-related (eg. softball) was perceived as being "soft" or "inferior". * Women are legally required to take up the man's surname in a marriage. * Society has traditionally placed more of an emphasis on a woman's looks above all else. * Women are the victims in the majority of domestic violence cases.
I'll be honest, I don't think very highly of men in general, even as a male myself. This doesn't apply to all men of course, but I feel as though we continue to exploit women to this day and because it has been so engrained into the general psyche of society over the course of millennia, little has been done to address it. I feel ashamed that we allow this to continue.

As a female living in the US, I never felt as though I had less equal rights than a guy my age. In other countries, yeah women are treated less equally especially in Islamic/Middle eastern countries.
