It seems like music changed more rapidly in the 2010s. It’s hard to find songs from the mid to late 10s that sound like the early 10s, unlike in the 2000s

Hopefully this classic banger: To me, this song sounds very mid 2010s. A lot of EDM from 2013 to 2015 sounded pretty much identical to that.

A very early 2010s-sounding song from two artists who were arguably at their peaks during that same era. This was on the charts during mid-2014, but I always mistake it as having been released back in 2011 or 2012.

I would say it definitely features way less distortion and sawtooth effects than your typical 2011 songs. It's almost proto-future house in a way which is cool.

Its definitely not your stereotypical 2011-sounding song like "Party Rock Anthem" or "Sweat", but I still think it sounds like it could have come out around that time.
