The service would be fully discontinued on December 31st 2020, meaning that now decades worth of flash animations and games on the internet will cease to exist. And while sites like NewGrounds have announced to switch to online emulation, it probably only represents a fraction of games that will be saved. Even though I do remember Flash being annoying to use back when sites like YouTube heavily relied on it, I do have a lot of fond memories playing flash games and comparing high scores with friends when we had freetime on the computer corner. Here's a nice little recap of some 2000s internet glory that will soon be lost: www.google.be/amp/s/www.gamingbible.co.uk/features/pc-briliant-flash-games-from-the-2000s-to-stay-inside-and-play-20200406.amp.html

I remember getting an Android phone in 2010 for this lol.
RIP. It was fun while it lasted but definitely could not keep up with the times.

I'm gonna miss Flash. I have so many childhood memories of playing Flash games on Miniclip, Newgrounds, Addicting Games, etc.

This truly is the end of an era. I loved Kongregate games like Protector, Burrito Bison, Dungeons of Kong, and my personal favorite: Realm of the Mad God (which sadly became a pay-to-win MMO).
RIP Flash.

Ohh Club Penguin, Y8, Miniclip, Newgrounds, Kongregate, Facebook games, I'm gonna miss you all 😪
If only they were all written in HTML, Javascript, or Python to stay alive.
