Very cool footage indeed! Hard to think this was just before World War 2.
The neon lights at night make it look so modern.
1930s fashion is so underrated too. You could definitely wear some of that stuff today and get away with it.

Not NYC but this is a footage from Chicago in the 1930s and holy crap, the 60fps makes it less older than it is.
