I happened to see a tweet in my feed about Jessie J earlier this evening and it got me thinking about how she was hugely popular around 2014 (even to the extent of appearing as a judge on "The Voice UK" and "The Voice Australia"), but she hasn't achieved a hit on the Top-40 charts for years and she is no longer talked about.
Here are a few other popular artists from the mid 2010s who could also be implied as no longer being relevant:
* Justice Crew - You couldn't avoid them here in Australia back in 2014, "Que Sera" was an absolutely huge hit. I haven't heard anything about them in at least 4 or 5 years. * Iggy Azalea * Meghan Trainor * Pharrell Williams - To be fair, he was never going to top "Happy". * Ellie Goulding - She had quite a few hits during the mid 2010s.
Adele's weight loss transformation has made headlines over the past couple of months, but other than that, she has also been quiet since about 2017 or so. Can you think of other artists/pop starts from the mid 2010s who are no longer culturally relevant in the mainstream?

Zara Larsson comes to mind. Had a few hits in around 2016, but haven't heard much since. She may still be popular in Europe, but seems not to be relevant from an Australian perspective.
Apparently she has a new album coming out soon.

Charli XCX (un)fortunately as she has since released her best and most interesting material since going indie.

Apparently she has a new album coming out soon. I forgot about her actually, I remember "Lush Life" in particular was played a lot on the radio during early-mid 2016. It's interesting how some artists can just fade away no sooner than when they make a name for themselves.

This seems patently obvious, but thank GOODNESS Meghan Trainor fell down hard after 2016. I absolutely hated her corny, sexist and pretentious songs.

I could understand her being irrelevant elsewhere in the world, but over here, she's actually still somewhat relevant. This was annoyingly a pretty big hit here last year: Also, her and David Guetta released this song towards the end of last year, which I actually don't mind to be honest: Sia has been relevant here since way back in 2010.

This was annoyingly a pretty big hit here last year: Oh wow, maybe its a good thing she's not relevant here anymore. Sia has always had quite an annoying voice, but that song is just awful imo. Sia has been relevant here since way back in 2010. Oh ok. I guess she did actually feature on one or two songs around 2012, but I mostly associate Sia with her mid 2010s hits like "Chandelier" and "Cheap Thrills".

I know it wasn't part of your question, but I can think of some Mid to Late 10s (2014-2019) pop stars who are no longer very relevant:
- Fetty Wap - Silento (he was a one hit wonder anyway, lol) - Wiz Khalifa - The Chainsmokers - Rihanna - Rae Sremmurd - Sia - Shawn Mendes - Camilla Cabello - Lil Pump - Ed Sheeran

Miley Cyrus is by no means 100% irrelevant (like meghan trainor or even katy fucking perry) but let's not forget that she was, without a doubt, the biggest popstar in the world for a few months 2013-2014.
Remember how people talked about her vma performance? And her clothes? And the way she sticked her tongue out lmfao.
She fell off pretty hard, I'd say she's pretty irrelevant right now.
