- Shawn Mendes - Ed Sheeran I agree with the other examples you gave in your list, however I think it's too soon to write off Shawn Mendes and Ed Sheeran just yet. Ed had a reasonably successful radio-hit a few months ago with "Afterglow" and there was a recent viral video which showed him playing on a piano with Courtney Cox. I think if he were to put out a new album now, it would still do pretty well on the charts and generate headlines. 2014-2017 probably will go down as having been his "peak" though. Shawn released a new album only at the end of last year, and to be fair, "Wonder" was a pretty big hit for a short while, but he kind of shot himself in the foot with the direction he decided to go with his new music. His next album/single will be 'make or break' for him.

Anyone mentioned Zedd yet? Was one of the biggest edm players in the mid 2010s untill 2018.
I don't think he is coming back since edm is just not that big anymore.
Same thing with Marshmallow, thank goodness (he sucked)
Oh, and don't forget Allan Walker, or whatever he was called.
Pretty much every edm artist is not coming back and they'll soon become nostalgia acts
