I'm glad that you all made it out alive from this living hell. A pandemic, protests and riots, a contentious election, wildfires, massive explosions (Beirut and Nashville) and hurricanes are most of the events that happened this year. Early 2021 is most likely gonna be just as bad as 2020, but I just hope that the entire year won't be as nightmarish. What do you guys think?
EDIT: Deleted the original starter pack since there was a lot of controversy about it

That starterpack is incomplete without the mentions of Animal Crossing, Dalgona coffee, cottagecore, Borat, Cyberpunk 2077 or even toilet paper.

There were just so many things that happened this year (I got this image off of Google Images, so don't blame me).

What a year. As much as I want to forget I probably won't ever be able to.

Unless things turn out much worse for society in the years to come, 2020 will undoubtedly be the most eventful and transformative year I will ever experience in my lifetime. It's hard to comprehend really. I mean, we can see how much has changed in the world over the past nine months, but we can't truly comprehend how historic this year has been. People will be talking about it in 2100, no doubt.

What's Your Name doing in a 2020 starter pack? It came out in 2016, didn't it?

For me, it's another year down the drain. A year I went into with so much hope yet ended up losing everything and then some. A year that triggered the absolute worst of my personality traits and all of my worst fears. If there was a year to be tailor-made to be my own personal nightmare, it would be 2020. It isn't just one thing but the entire package. On many days it's simply hard to believe and accept this reality. I hope this is the worst year of my life until the doctor tells me it's cancer and I have six months left to live or that I have ALS.
I have hope that 2021 will be better than 2020, but it probably won't be by much.

I'm not saying 2021 should be the best year ever but the year should be better than this accursed year.

Unless there is a U.S. coup d'etat and a second civil war breaks out it's hard for me seeing 2021 being any worse than 2020 as far as current events. In my personal life, as long as 2021 isn't the year I'm diagnosed with a life-changing terminal illness, I also don't see how it could be worse than 2020.

Well it is almost August 2021. 2021 flew quicker than 2020. Probably because we aren't locked into our houses like we were in 2020 LMAO

Probably because we aren't locked into our houses like we were in 2020 LMAO LOL but unfortunately it is getting back to that state. All because the majority of unvaccinated people are refusing to get the damn vaccines for ANY chance of sustainable herd immunity in the U.S. And damn, I was right on the money with early 2021 being hectic with the Capitol riots, lol.

2021 is turning out to be 2020-lite. It's also proven there's no hope of improvement or return to normal any time soon. This is to our generation what the Great Depression was to our great grandparents. The next decade is going to be perilous.
On a personal level, it's the worst year of my life other than 2020, but it's not as bad as 2020.
